Geocaching
Geocaching! What a great way to spend time outdoors. This is something you can do with friends, family or by yourself and have a great time doing it.

For those of you just looking into the sport geocaching is the art of finding hidden caches of goodies where you hike to find what someone else has hidden with the use of a GPS. The rules are simple.

You use your GPS to find the cache
When you have found it, you fill out the log book in the container
You take something from the container and leave something behind (optional)

I still have a Spiderman inkpen I took from my first cache. The ink ran out years ago and it's not worth a dime but I treasure it like a priceless relic.

I'm not going to go into allot of detail here because there are already many great websites out there. One of my personal favorites is http://www.geocaching.com we encourage you to go to their site and create a free account. You can search for caches near you and get out and start looking. Once you have found out how much fun it can be you may want to change your membership to premium. You do get more web features and you would be supporting the continuance of a great outdoor sport.
As always

Noamad will be placing some caches over the summer. We are also working with our affiliates to get them to place some in their area.

When a log book for an Noamad cache is filled out there will be a prepaid envelope in the container that we ask the last user to place the log in and drop it in the mail. We will post the comments on our site.

All cache locations will be posted on Noamad and  http://www.geocaching.com

Some of our caches will require a little riddle solving and a few may be placed in areas that have a diverse terrain for those that would like a little more adventure. We will always list the difficulty level and any special skills needed to reach the cache.

Cache locations will be coming soon!
